The Spiz'ikes Jordan series is an on-going project both for Nike and Spike Lee. Because of the warm response from the fans, more colorways will be released within the next few years. The ones that have already been released sold out within a couple of weeks and you will rarely find these awesom Spizikes available in stores. It was originally nicknamed the ""retro Frankenstein"" because the shoe parts were taken from the more popular Air Jordan Sneakers. The elephant print, the sole and midsole of the Jordan 3 is part of the Spizikes' design, as the wings that hold the lace loops on the Jordan 4. More noticable inspirations came from the Jordan 5 (silhouette and netting on its side), Jordan 6 (tongue and lace locks) and the Jordan 9 (back tab).
