Evisu T-shirt

Evisu or Evisu Genes is a Japanese designer clothing company that specializes in producing premium denim wear through traditional, labor-intensive methods.

The brand was founded in 1988 in Osaka, Japan, by Hidehiko Yamane.The brand was originally called Evis (named after the Buddhist god of prosperity) but was eventually changed to Evisu.The Evisu logo is a stylized seagull, and is still hand-painted onto some styles of jeans. Evisu makes extensive use of heavy, premium-quality selvedge denim, produced on 29-inch wide vintage looms.

In addition to jeans, the company also makes t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, shoes, and accessories.
